A message from the Managing Director

Welcome to the latest issue of our quarterly e-newsletter, PH:MATTERS, which this month features projects at prestigious London addresses.

Our recent awards include fit-out and refurbishment projects in Belgravia and Hatton Garden as well as at More London, the vibrant new business community close to Tower Bridge on the south bank of the River Thames.

We’re also teaming up with London South Bank University to offer cash prizes to the highest achieving Quantity Surveying students. It’s all part of a wider initiative to increase our links with the establishment and to identify the talent of the future.

Thanks for taking time out to read our news.

More London fit-out work for PierceHill

More London, the Capital’s newest central business district, provides a striking backdrop for the ‘sustainable’ fit out of Climate Change Capital’s new office.

The leading investment bank, specialists in commercial opportunities created by a low carbon economy, has appointed PierceHill to perform quantity surveying and cost management services for the project, overseeing fit-out contractor, The Interiors Group.

Eaton Square refurbishment for our eyes only!

PierceHill has been appointed to work with London-based architects and interior designers Weldon Walshe to complete the £2million fit-out and refurbishment of a large, private apartment in Eaton Square in London's exclusive Belgravia district.

Eaton Square is one of the three garden squares built by the Grosvenor family when they developed the main part of Belgravia in the 19th Century. The houses in Eaton Square are generously proportioned, predominantly three bay wide buildings, joined in regular terraces in a classical style, with four or five main storeys.

Notable residents in the Square include Sean Connery, Roger Moore and Chelsea manager José Mourinho.

PierceHill all-stars sink into the valley

PierceHill was one of six teams that participated in a 7-a-side football tournament held recently at The Valley, home of Charlton Athletic Football Club. The event, organised by Kent-based Sutherlands Building Services, attracted a small but enthusiastic crowd.

If your company is interested in taking on the might of PierceHill's all-stars, please contact Adam Lynch at our Sevenoaks office. We’re already in training, as we finished last in the tournament! Rather similar to Charlton Athletic last season..!
